Listen up ladies, there is something big coming to Hyde Park Village and you’ll want to hear all about it.
Who doesn’t love spending a weekend with friends hitting the latest sales at MAC or picking out a perfect date night outfit from BCBG? The mall is an emotional experience for us ladies, serving as a therapeutic action that can solve almost any troubles.
Guys, usually the mall can be a pretty intimidating experience, especially if you are accompanied by your girlfriend, but do not fear!
Hyde Park is introducing the first-to-Tampa Bay retail stores and a restaurant, and there is something for everyone (guys included) to get excited about.
The four new additions include Suitsupply, a Dutch retailer with stylish suits for men, vineyard vines, a lifestyle brand recognized most by its signature preppy threads, The Shade Store, a home décor company specializing in unique window treatments and Meat Market, a contemporary, chic steakhouse that packs on the flavor.
Adding these retailers has enhanced the goals of WS Management to turn the Village into Tampa’s ultimate shopping destination.
SuitSupply
SuitSupply was founded in 2000 in Amsterdam by Fokke de Jong in his dorm room when he was 26 years old. He took the store from his dorm room to now over 50 locations globally; from China, to Canada and Europe. The Tampa Bay location will mark the second SuitSupply in Florida, the first opened in Miami Beach. The store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2016.
vineyard vines
Based in Stamford Connecticut, vineyard vines started from the minds of brothers, Shep and Ian Murray, when they got tired of their desk jobs. The company carries products for men, women and children and has over 60 stores. This is the ninth location in Florida, but the first in Tampa and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
Meat Market
Think sexy, glamourous steakhouse and that’s exactly what you’ll get when you step inside Meat Market, one of the most cutting-edge restaurant concepts. CEO David Tornek, Executive Chef/Co-Owner Sean Brasel and Director of Operations/Partner Sebastian Tribout come together to push out some of the tastiest menu items that will definitely feed your hunger pains after a nice day of shopping. It is scheduled to open in 2017.
The Shade Store
Founded in 1946 in New York, The Shade Store takes pride in its finest quality products by managing its own inventory and overseeing the day-to-day production process. Each product is handmade in the United States. This will be the third location in Florida, and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2016.
Now one of Tampa Bay’s most desirable residential areas is getting an even bigger upgrade with the introduction of a few new shops and a classy restaurant. If you were ever undecided about how to spend your weekend before, you won’t be anymore.
