It’s Wednesday…which means half of your work week is already over. Only a few more days until the weekend is all yours. But before your mind starts daydreaming about that Happy Hour margarita or retreating to the beach, make sure you know exactly what’s going on this weekend.

Tim McGraw in Concert
With soulful lyrics and that good ol’ country twang, have a great time listening to old favorites and new hits as Tim McGraw teams up with Billy Currington and Chase Bryant at the MidFlorida Credit Union Ampitheatre on the 22nd starting at 7pm. Ladies, break out your cutest pair of cowboy boots and guys, this is the time to wear those cowboy hats.

SPF Festival of the Arts
Explore your creative side and venture out to the Morean Arts Center on Friday at 9am in St. Petersburg for the SPF (St. Petersburg Festival) to celebrate the five arts districts including the Shine Mural Festival, the St.Pete Food & Wine Festival and numerous art and museum events.
Admission to the festival is free, but some events require admission. The festival will continue through next Thursday.
Improv Comedy Theater Presents Rob Schneider
Who doesn’t love a good laugh every now and then? Get a whole night of laughs at the Improv Comedy Theater on Friday at 7pm as Rob Schneider captivates the audience with his hysterical stories and witty one-liners. Grab tickets for you and your significant other and make it a date night you won’t forget.

Lowry Park Zoo Fun Run
Grab the kids and head out to the Lowry Park Zoo for the annual 5K and kids fun run along the Hillsborough River to benefit zoo programs. Children 11 & under can enter a special “”Fun Run””, which follows the 5K. The event fee includes admission into the zoo for the rest of the day, so once you’re done running it out, spend the rest of the day enjoying the animals, exhibits, etc. Purchase your ticket now for $35! Tickets will increase to $40 the day of the race.

Brunch it up at Jackson’s Bistro
