Let’s face it, everyone loves pizza. Whether it’s cheese, pepperoni or outrageous creations like the Hawaiian pizza topped with ham and pineapple, it’s a go-to meal for a night out.
And Channelside has introduced a new joint, Fabrica Woodfired Pizza, for just that.
Celebrating its Grand Opening on July 17th, attendees were treated to complimentary tastings, gift cards and t-shirts, along with live music and giveaways.
The Fabrica Woodfired Pizza concept is one that was imagined after owners Jonathan and Estefania Perez became inspired by fresh and simple Italian ingredients while living in Turin, Italy.
The restaurant follows a “less is more” theme and aims to balance Neapolitan ingredients and mainstream toppings and delivers from the moment you walk through the door. The dough is hand-stretched at the door in front of guests as they choose from a variety of eight different proteins, five types of authentic cheeses and 14 types of veggies, displayed on their authentic Italian menu. Tomato sauce can’t get any better than here, which is made fresh daily from San Marzano tomatoes.
One of the processes that makes each slice absolutely mouth-watering is the cooking process in a 5,500-pound, handcrafted wood fire oven shipped from Napoli, Italy. The oven, which took three months to craft and three months to ship, is heated to precisely 800 degrees daily to ensure that each slice is as savory as the last.
The restaurant comfortably seats 49 people inside and has 30 seats available for those who would like to enjoy their pizza outside.
Delicious pizza can stir up quite a thirst. Along with many pizza options, Fabrica offers up four draft beers, including locally crafted brews, and four wine options for Whites and Reds.
Not in the mood for pizza? (which will probably be unlikely here)
Fabrica also serves up appetizing small bites from oven roasted eggplant, meatballs and caprese, to delicious, fresh salads.
Whatever you choose to order, one bite will have you quickly forgetting you’re in Channelside.
The tastes of Italy are only a drive to Fabrica way.
