When you hear the word foodie, do you instantly think of yourself?
If you said yes, have a large appetite and wouldn’t mind tasting some of the best cuisine around Tampa Bay, then find your loosest pair of jeans and head out to the 11-day Tampa Bay Restaurant Week event from June 11th – 21st.
About Restaurant Week
For the past eight years, Creative Loafing has partnered with Tampa Bay restaurants to bring a local dining experience to attendees, by giving them the opportunity to enjoy $30 three-course pre fixe menus from over 70 of the most delicious restaurants in the Bay area.
The full menu of participating restaurants this year can be viewed on the official website for Tampa Bay Restaurant Week.
Meet the Chefs Event
On June 10th, Meet the Chefs, the Tampa Bay Restaurant Week and Creative Loafing sold-out Food Issue event will take place at the Coppertail Brewing Co. Tasting Room from 7 to 9 p.m and provide attendees with an exclusive opportunity to meet eight, well-renowned, local chefs that will be displaying an appetizer, main course or dessert each that will be featured on each restaurant’s Restaurant Week menu.
Meet the Chef’s attendees will also get their hands on a copy of Creative Loafing’s annual Food Issue, that includes a pullout description of each of the participating restaurants.
The Contest
Normally, there should be a “no phones at the dinner table” policy, but this time you should make an exception by participating in the Restaurant Week Server Photo Contest.
Simply take a picture of the restaurant, your server, and your menu, tag @cltampabay and #CLRestaurantWeek on Instagram, and enjoy the festivities. You could be chosen to win a grand prize!
As an added bonus, if your picture includes you holding a bottle of Stella Artois, the official beer of Tampa Bay Restaurant Week, or the Stella Artois-branded chalice and you’re chosen as the photo contest winner, you can be the lucky winner of a Stella Artois prize pack, on top of the grand prize!
Some other official drinks include Tito’s Handmade Vodka as the Official Vodka of Tampa Bay Restaurant Week, and Kahwa Coffee as the Official Coffee. But don’t fill up on too much alcohol or coffee, trust us, you’ll want to save room for the amazing food.
