On August 19, 2009, University of Tampa senior Ryan McCall was tragically killed during a heinous crime just outside of UT’s campus.
McCall’s bright future may have been stolen, but his family and friends refuse to let the same thing happen to his memory.
So to honor the cross country and track runner, Tampa Prep coach, and exercise science major, those closest to him started the Ryan McCall Memorial Fund.
Fundraisers – like Ryan’s Run – support the fund which donates proceeds to a scholarship given to one high school senior boy and girl every year. All recipients have excelled both academically and athletically through cross country or track – just like Ryan.
