We’re used to having a restaurant to satisfy everything we’re craving.
If we’re in the mood for pizza, there’s a place for that. If we’d prefer subs, we know where to go.
But what about when we’re craving delicious chicken salad?
That’s right…Chicken Salad Chick is arriving in Tampa on September 1st at 2790 E. Fowler Avenue in the University Collection shopping center and is presenting chicken salad in a way you’ve never imagined.
Stacy Brown, a college student from Auburn University, was a “Southern chick” who loved really good chicken salad, so the idea of Chicken Salad Chick was born.
The company already has locations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and three in Florida: Destin, Panama City Beach and Tallahassee. But Tampa has to wait no longer.
The new chain is another trend that the restaurant scene has embraced, focusing mostly on a dozen different varieties of chicken salad, from the “Classic Carol,” a traditional chicken salad to other tantalizing varieties such as the “Barbie-Q,” hickory-smoked chicken and diced jalepenos, and the “Sassy Scotty,” served with ranch dressing and bacon.
The restaurant boasts an affordable menu, serving all items from $7-$9, plus drinks and sides. There are also traditional deli sandwiches to choose from – turkey, roast beef and ham.
Named one of the 2015 “Breakout Brands” from Nation’s Restaurant News, this chicken salad joint is on a roll and the amount of new locations just seem to keep growing.
South Tampa, Carrollwood, Westchase and Brandon are just a few other locations Chicken Salad Chick could be headed to next.
