My name is Yvonne Bell, I am the newest writer for Dive In and I’ll be giving you the inside scoop on all things Music in Tampa Bay. I have a passion for music and an admiration for our city’s diverse local scene.
I have been going to shows here for almost 10 years and, in that time, I have gotten to know a lot of bands, show producers, promoters and have written about local music for various news sources including Creative Loafing’s online music blog. To me, music is the most honest form of emotional expression and no one does it better than the musicians here in Tampa.
Here at DITB I will be informing you of upcoming shows, giving you inside looks at local acts through interviews, show and album reviews. I take a personal stake in introducing the residents of this great city to some of the most talented musicians around, including some of my favorites like: Select Start, Sleepy Vikings, Peter Baldwin, Florida Night Heat, Marksmen, Auto! Automatic!! and Jeremy Gloff, among many others!
