It’s not everyday that you get to party aboard a historic, fully-functioning 1940’s era steamship that has served in World War II, The Korean War and Vietnam. But now, thanks to the SS American Victory Mariners Museum, it can be about once a month.
In the channel on the waterside of the Florida Aquarium there is a 455 foot world-class 10,750 ton ship just waiting for you to come aboard.
The SS American Victory is open seven days a week for tours of 9 decks of cavernous three level cargo holds, radio and gyro rooms, a hospital, galley, weaponry, steering stations, flying bridge, signaling equipment, wheelhouse, mess halls, engine room, crew cabins, lifeboats and cargo equipment.
But the best time to take a step into history is when there is live music and libations involved. Check out the list of upcoming events at the SS American Victory.
